A passionate advocate for youth-friendly spaces, Ifeoluwapo is a school leader who brings heart and energy to every conversation. A talented singer and athlete, she is inspired by her family and loves using her voice to uplift others through public speaking.

Sonya-Alice brings fearless energy to campaigns, protests, and rallies. She thrives outside of her comfort zone and believes in educating youth on civics and social issues. Her leadership and love of public speaking make her a powerful voice for change.

Lily is committed to authentic youth engagement and building communities that truly listen. Creative and driven, she’s active in public speaking, singing, and Māori cultural expression, and is passionate about becoming a trusted voice in her community.

Mazaiah is a rising climate leader with a strong connection to her Pasifika heritage. Inspired by the Pacific Climate Warriors, she is passionate about advocating for youth in the South Island and standing up for environmental justice.

With experience in youth volunteering, Ayaan is driven to serve and support others. He’s passionate about making space for migrant and refugee voices, creating inclusive communities, and ensuring equal access to opportunities for all young people.

Mandipa is a creative force who uses dance, music, and service to inspire others. Active in advocacy and fundraising, she’s passionate about addressing child poverty and ensuring every young person has access to basic needs and dignity.

Deeply connected to her whakapapa, Bella is committed to environmental justice and uplifting Indigenous voices. She’s a natural leader, always looking to grow and connect with others to create meaningful change for the next generation.

A community-minded youth advocate, Nadhanya believes in collective action and equal education for all. She balances her time between music, volunteering, tutoring, and activism — always focused on helping others and raising awareness.

A photojournalist and youth climate leader, Kereama brings strong political awareness and compassion to his advocacy. He’s driven by justice and inspired by trailblazing role models, with dreams of one day entering politics himself.

Jayathi blends academic drive with a passion for wellbeing and the environment. She’s an athlete, community organiser, and emerging leader focused on creating a safer, more supportive world for youth navigating mental health challenges.

Generation Hope is Save the Children NZ’s youth leadership programme for rangatahi aged 14–18. Ambassadors contribute to five key areas of our work: advocacy, fundraising, events, media & content, and education.

They speak truth to power, co-create campaigns, and bring bold ideas to life — all while being mentored and supported along the way.
